Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how refunds are issued for paid AuthForge subscriptions provided by EactiveNet, Inc. It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Because the AuthForge core software is self-hosted and available to operate at no cost, paid plans represent support, assurance, and feature services rather than access to the software itself. This Policy does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer in your jurisdiction.

1. Overview
We want you to be satisfied with your plan. This Policy sets out the circumstances in which refunds are available, the timeframes that apply, and how to request one. You may cancel a Subscription at any time; cancellation stops future charges and your plan remains active until the end of the paid period then in effect.
2. Free tier and trials
The Community tier is free to self-host indefinitely and requires no payment. Where we offer a free trial of a paid plan, you will not be charged until the trial period ends, and you may cancel at any time before the end of the trial to avoid a charge.
3. 14-day money-back guarantee
For your first purchase of a paid monthly plan, you may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of the initial charge if the Services do not meet your needs. This guarantee applies once per customer and to the initial purchase only, and does not apply to renewals, upgrades, or one-time service fees.
4. Monthly plans and renewals
Monthly Subscriptions renew automatically each month. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. As a courtesy, if you contact us within seven (7) days of a renewal charge and have not made material use of the renewed term, we will review your request in good faith and may, in our discretion, issue a full or partial refund. To prevent a renewal, cancel before the renewal date.
5. Annual plans
Annual Subscriptions are billed in advance for the year. If you cancel within thirty (30) days of the start of an annual term, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused, full months remaining in that term. After the first thirty (30) days, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term, but will not renew if cancelled before the renewal date.
6. Non-refundable charges
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, the following are non-refundable: one-time onboarding, implementation, or professional-services fees once the relevant work has commenced; custom engineering, migration, or dedicated security-review engagements; and any charge associated with an account that we have suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, or for abuse of this Refund Policy.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us first so that we can resolve the matter promptly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks that we believe are made in error or in bad faith.
8. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email billing@authforge.dev from the email address associated with your account and include your invoice number and the reason for the request. We may ask for limited additional information to verify the purchase and prevent fraud.
9. Processing, currency, and taxes
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method in the original currency of purchase. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take five (5) to ten (10) business days for funds to appear after we process the refund. Refunds are net of any applicable transaction or processing fees that are non-recoverable, and any taxes are refunded only to the extent we are able to recover them.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
